Engagement Party!

Saturday was a fun filled, busy day!

It started off with a hair appointment for me and yard work for Brandon! We have three plum trees on the side of the yard and I guess daddy didn't see a purpose in them any more so now they're gone! Brandon always helps dad out. Suck up-for sure! ;)

After the chores and hair appointment we went to the gym. Was able to get a good hour in a half work out in and man it felt good! It was SO pretty outside on Saturday! After the gym we had some lunch, worked on our registry some and then we were getting ready for the first "wedding event"!

Saturday afternoon we had our Engagement Party at the Olive Garden. Family and the wedding party was all that was invited. Wanted to keep it intimate and special-this was the time to celebrate with the ones that we love the most that we are getting married! Brandon suggested I bring the clues and share how he proposed. It was a very special moment and I'm so glad that I got to tell it and read the clues with our family and friends!

Sunday was a nice day. I love Sunday's. Lost an hour of sleep (BOO!), but we went to church for an awesome message and then we went straight to Nashville to do some shopping! Neither of us have bought clothes in a long time. Long time meaning 4+ months. Dang! I know. Neither of us like shopping either. We went to Ross' and Marshalls in Nashville. LOVE those stores! They have everything! We are definitely going to go up there to get some stuff for the house after we get settled to get odd and end things that we need! We found some clothes at Ross', but definitely hit the jack pot at Marshalls. Spent a pretty penny, but we got some great deals. We had to get clothes for all the excitement that's going on! Engagement pictures, showers, dinners, etc. This is one of the most important times of our lives so we have to look snazzy! After a days worth of shopping we headed home and had a relaxing dinner with mom and dad. Had some chicken off the grill and then watched a movie.

I feel like I can't get over the fact that Brandon is finally home. I tell him everyday how happy I am that he's home. When he's home, the clock doesn't exist. It's always go go go and it's bedtime before we know it. I love it and I'm SO happy he's finally home.
