The Wedding Cake

The Surprise Groom's Cake!

Yesterday my two wedding planners (mom & steph) met with me and Heather, the lady that will be making the wedding cake and surprise groom’s cake! VERY successful meeting! I was able to pass on the items for the cake, minus the cake topper, (it’s in route from China) and discuss the flavors and colors! After that I left there wanting to stick my face in a bowl of cake batter…just sayin’.

I am SO excited about the cake. I am such a simple person, that is was probably like the fourth cake I found when I was searching for one! It’s traditional, simple, cute, and different! I can’t wait to see it in real life! It’s even going to have some of our own little touches on it! The flavors…well you will have to wait and taste them yourself, can’t let out too many secrets!

The groom’s cake is going to be my gift to Brandon. At first, he thought it was dumb and pointless and didn’t understand. Then I guess after he had done some research on it, he decided that he wanted to do it. Well, that was after I had planned to make it as a surprise! So, I made the decision that it was going to be my gift to him. It’s a surprise…so there really isn’t too much to say about it except, I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he sees it! It’s going to be so awesome!

Today I finally found my shoes that I’m going to wear with my dress. Gotta order them online. They are from Wal-Mart…go figure! Doesn’t take much to put a smile on this face. I know they will be perfect, and I’ll probably wear them out after. They’re so cute and so me. :)
