Friday the 13th

24 May 2011

Dun, dun, dun!

Sike! Our Friday the 13th was great! It was the day before the wedding which in MY world meant, decorating the reception hall, getting pampered, finishing packing, and rehearsal and rehearsal dinner! Pretty good Friday the 13th if you ask me...

It started off with the morning of decorating the reception hall. Well...I did a little decorating. This bride could not do strenuous activities the day before the wedding! So I put pictures in picture frames, hung a couple lanterns, told them to put what where and then I was off to my next destination.

Me and meshell went and got our nails and toes done. We met there with Ashley and Joanna and they joined. They were super busy so we didn't get to do it all at the same time, but we were there together so that was good enough! After the mani/pedis we grabbed some lunch then it was home to finish up packing-so stressful. I love to pack, BUT I had to pack for the night before the wedding, getting ready for the wedding, what to wear to Nashville, AND the honeymoon. Don't tell me you wouldn't be stressed for all of that too...

After the packing me and my groom headed to the rehearsal! Talk about exciting! Had a few TINY issues with the music...caused mom to go into a major panic. First real MOB incident. Nothing crazy, she actually was still calm cool and collected mom. {Everything ended up perfect} Some fun memories from the rehearsal

-Reagan started down the aisle with the pillow and the ribbon that was tied around it came off and he dragged the pillow down the aisle...SO funny!
-Heather, the photographer came to check stuff out. She figured out some good angles...including on top of the baptistry. Big joke-don't fall in!
-Dad wanted to play a joke on everyone and walk down the aisle with the steamer that we were borrowing.
-Sweet memory: Dad got me to the end of the aisle and Brandon was tearing up :) Love that man of mine.

After the Rehearsal we went to the BlackHorse for our Rehearsal Dinner!
Special Menu for our guests was:

Appetizer:
Salad

Main Course:
Prime Rib or Baked Chicken with a Pineapple Glaze

Side:
Mashed potatoes with a choice of Asparagus or Broccoli

Dessert:
Chocolate Cake or Apple Pie

The food was AWESOME! I love the Blackhorse. I am so glad we choosed them. Nothing better then to choose a local venue for all of our out of town guests anyways :)

Here is a picture of me and my flower girl's pens that mom got us...

After the yummy dinner it was off to do some quick loungin before we had to part ways. Meshell caught this pic..

One last final picture of Amanda Sheppard and Brandon Forbes!

Then it was off to bed for well, some sleep anyways. Had to be tucked away from the groom until May 14th at noon!
