Kelly,
I won’t hold you to it, but was hoping you can give me a ‘guesstimate’ on the weather conditions for May 14th?
Our daughter will be married that day and although nothing could take away from that in itself, the reception is planned in a beautiful setting very near the Cumberland River. I have to admit the rainfall in Clarksville is making me kind of nervous today for more reasons than one . . .
Thanks,
Mother of The Bride

Well it is still too far ahead for a forecast (email me again on Thursday & I may have an idea). But I can tell you today that May is a wet month for us, but one with nice temperatures. Looking at climotology, the average high for that day is 76 for the high with partly cloudy skies and a 30% rain chance. In May, I would reserve a tent if you don't have a back up indoor location. But feel free to check back in with me late next week & I hape to have more info!

Well, this still has lots of time to change (in part because there is only 1 forecast model to look at this far ahead) but so far it looks looks cooler than normal with a few scattered showers. Our long range forcast for Saturday the 14th is Partly Cloudy with a 30% rain chance (more showers than storms) with a high of 69 & low of 45. Starting Saturday evening this date will be covered by another forecast model & that will help us know more. Feel free to email again or watch Sunday morning & it will be on the forecast. I hope that helps!

That mom ;)
Can't go wrong with the Farmer's Almanac, right?

Last night we got A LOT done! Might I add-we had 'Going to the chapel' on repeat and singing like losers the whole time ;) Some of the things we are doing for the wedding, we wanted to be handmade so we worked on those last night! Cute, cute stuff but sorry, can’t give away any details. Today’s project is I am working on a playlist for while I am getting ready with my girls for the big day. GEEZ! I can’t believe it is so soon. Time is literally flying by. Tomorrow Brandon’s mom & Ted will be here and the bachelor parties will begin shortly after that! I’m soooo excited to get to spend time with some of our closest friends, 2 of which are coming out of state! We are kind of a big deal, ya know! Obviously.
This afternoon I’m getting these gross brown roots covered up. Can’t wait! My hair dresser, Rachael, is pretty much amazing. She can do anything I want and fix any mess I make-hehe. It’s nice because she does what I want, not what she wants…which is hard to find a hair dresser like that! Getting a little trim too, gotta tidy up the ends for the big day.
So, a couple years ago I got these really cute heels from Forever 21. They were on clearance for $12.00. They are FIERCE! I haven’t worn them yet…because they aren’t really your average Clarksville heels. All I have to say is wish me luck! Last thing I need to do is break an ankle this weekend. I should be good though. I would post a picture, but my outfit is a surprise, too!
Running some errands tonight and getting something for SOMEONE’S birthday next week... Along with…500 other errands. Tomorrow will be here before I know it. Can’t wait for this weekend! Family coming in, hanging out with good friends, Mother’s Day!, good food…it’s going to be awesome! And when this week is over…FIVE DAYS! Woo hoo!!!!
