Make Up Date

Friday morning Brandon asked me back out on a surprise date. It was fun being the one that had no clue what was going on! I'm so thankful for the intentional time and effort he put into planning this special night!

When I got off work Friday I headed to the mall to use the 40% off coupon that Fran gave me for the GAP. I never shop at GAP, just because I'm a Target & TJMaxx kinda girl, but I couldn't pass up the coupon...that's almost 50% off! I actually found quite a bit and think I might be stopping in there more often!

Never had a maxi before and I've always wanted one..it was just hard to find one that fit me and was long enough. I wore it ALL day Sunday. Totally in love and have got to get some more asap!

Date outfit: Consignment store top, Goodwill heels, bangles with my new bracelet from Karama and Essie 'Play Date' that Joanne bought me when she was in town. Love it!

We left the house hopped on the interstate and headed to Nashville. From our new house we live 15-20 minutes closer to Nashville so we were up there in no time! I found myself nervous on the way up because I had no idea where we were going and what the night entailed! So when we got near destination he made me close my eyes. When I opened them we were at Green Hills in front of The Cheesecake Factory!

I had never been to The Cheesecake Factory before and it was awesome! The atmosphere was loud, but dark so helped keep it a little intimate. The Passion Fruit Mojito? AMAZING. Best Mojito I have ever had! I love The Cheesecake Factory because they have a 'Skinnylicious Menu'. Right down my alley! I got the Mexican Tortilla Salad. It was delicious. Brandon got the Bang Bang Chicken & Shrimp and it was pretty good too! I will definitely be requesting a date back there.

Towards the end of dinner I started to not feel so well. Darn cold. :( We decided to skip stop 2 and go home. I was super bummed when I found out it was Dave & Busters! That would have been a blast!

Sadly, we got in the car and headed home. When we got home we walked into the kitchen to find this on the pub table... I am so spoiled! Cumberland White Wine, our 'F' wine glasses and a huge bouquet of flowers that was snuck into the house by mom and dad while we were gone. 

Even though I was sick-ly, thank you Brandon for an amazing surprise date! I can't wait for another one when I'm feeling better. ;) I'm so lucky to have you as a best friend, for the rest of my life!
