My Second Birthday!

This year I had two birthday's! Brandon unfortunately had to leave for a trip the day before my birthday, so we saved the festivities for when he returned.

Saturday, September 1st is the day I celebrated my birthday!

I woke up and knocked out Insanity. Literally. It's starting to get easy, which means, I'm getting stronger. Loving it! Then I went downstairs and was locked in our room until I was told I could come out. So, I showered, got ready, and did a birthday nail! I love this nude. Definitely my all time fave.

When I was told I could FINALLY come out, I was led to the kitchen with my eyes closed.
When I opened them I saw this... 

A fully birthday decorated breakfast nook with birthday cake pancakes and fruit for breakfast! Plus a little tiara that said Princess. I also had three birthday gifts sitting on the stairs. Jax wanted to help me open them! I got my purse, YAY! A black stretchy blazer, and some knock off toms! Knock offs because Toms don't fit me. Strange, huh? The 8s are too big and the 7 1/2s are too small. Bummer! {Don't hate on my pjs!}

We ate breakfast and then I opened my card. Brandon got me a birthday card about me being 100 years old. I guess he thinks I'm really old or something, but he's 4 years older then me so that must make him....

Yeah, so also there were two movie tickets for The Odd Life of Timothy Green! Cute movie!

After the movie we came home and I got one last surprise. A Ice Cream Cake! I've been wanting an Ice Cream Cake Birthday Cake for years. I finally got one. :)

24 candles! I thought we were going to burn the house down!

He wrote, 'Happy Birthday Beauty'. Beauty is my favorite nick-name from him.

Vanilla cake, chocolate cake, and chocolate ice cream. YUM!

That night we last minute decided to go to Chili's for dinner and  Jazz On The Lawn with a couple! It was fun! We actually ended up bumping into some more friends and hung out with them. Unexpected fun times are always the best! Especially on my make up birthday. ;)

I love this man.

Last week Brandon told me about a birthday present that he couldn't keep secret any long because he needed my help to plan it. He got us a condo rental for a weekend get away! I'm so excited to spend a weekend away on the lake with my favorite guy. A nice relaxing mini vaca is much needed after a chaotic summer of house hunting, buying, packing, moving, whew! Definitely a great bday present!! I can't wait!
