The Perfect Fruit Smoothie

I have had a fruit smoothie, or two, in my life. It's not that I don't like them, I just don't think of them often. Before I got pregnant, I could wake up at 5 go to the gym, and then eat breakfast around 7:30 after I had showered and gotten ready for work. Well, the baby doesn't agree with that schedule. Instead.. it wants to eat 24/7. I've had to change up my eating schedule a little bit. I'm remaining as healthy as possible {with a cheat meal or two accepted} but trying to stay on track the best I can. 

So, with my morning schedule consisting of gym, getting ready for work, taking care of two pups, and fixing breakfast and leaving the house by 7:30... I had to find a quick and easy meal that I could cram in between my work out and getting ready for work. Then ding, ding, ding! A fruit smoothie! 

It took no time to prep the fruit for 10 fruit smoothies and make one! Here's how I did it..

I bought:
-1 bunch bananas
-1 container strawberries
-1 container blueberries
-Orange Juice

When I got home I cut everything up. I then got little zip lock baggies and loaded up. A small handful of each fruit, put them in the baggie, and zipped. Then put them in the freezer.

To make:
-Frozen or fresh fruit
-1 cup OJ
-4-5 ice cubes
-Blend!

I had a few friends comment on my Magic Bullet. Santa brought it to me in 2011. I LOVE IT! I can chop, blend, mix anything in a second! It's awesome. My favorite thing about it, is all the mixing cups, turn in to just that.. a cup! With either a closed top with lid or just a cup lip around the outside. So easy to blend up a smoothie, shake whatever.. and hit the road!
