Whole Wheat Linguine Shrimp Alfredo
When I posted this picture on Instagram the other night, I had several comments from friends that wanted the recipe. One night Brandon decided to take it upon himself to cook dinner and this is what he made me. It. Was. Amazing. So, I was ready to master it!
It's been a while since I've actually cooked a real meal and posted a recipe up on the blog. {Thank you Baby Forbes for first trimester zombie mode.} I was proud that I actually had enough energy at night to cook dinner! Normally I premake something or have to pick something that's super easy to throw together. Well, with your request.. here's the recipe!
Ingredients:
Shrimp
Whole Wheat Linguine Noodles
Alfredo
Olive Oil
Pepper
Crushed Red Pepper
Garlic Powder
Directions:
1. Thaw and prepare shrimp.
2. In a small skillet heat up olive oil and add seasonings.
{I'm an eyer-so I couldn't tell you how much of each}
3. While olive oil and seasonings are heating together; boil noodles, cook, and drain.
4. Add alfredo sauce to noodles and let warm.
5. Add shrimp to olive oil and let cook 5-10 minutes.
{Shrimp is easy to over cook, so be careful!}
6. Spoon noddles onto plate, then add shrimp on top.
7. Enjoy!
Happy Weekend, Friends!
