Surprise Date Night!

Last Thursday I was told to be 'dressed nice' and ready to leave town at 5:30. I was so excited to see where we were going!

I actually was dressed and ready to go a little before 5:30. He was proud. :)

First we stopped at a Target in Nashville. A much bigger Target then we have here. We were able to finish up registering by knocking out a few things that I wanted to see in person. But we're done! Yay!

 I knew that dinner was obviously in the plans but had no clue where we were going. Bennett was craving Chinese, so I was secretly hoping to go to one of our favorite chinese restaurants in Nashville, where we have spent many special occasions, PF Changs. But, we went to The Depot in Springfield. Yum! Springfield is a little town between home and Nashville. The Depot is an old train station that was turned into a restaurant! It was such a neat experience and I've been wanting to go for quite some time. It was delicious!

 We got the Southwestern Chicken Egg Rolls for an appetizer. YUM!

I opted for a good ol hamburger and fries and Brandon got everything on the menu. Kidding! Stuffed filet with mashed potatoes and mushrooms. {oink, oink ;)}

And for dessert? Oh yeah.. we went there. We never go there. We never have room in our bellies to go there, but hello! They make to go boxes for a reason! Dessert to go. Genius. Why had we never thought of this before? Probably a good thing.
