Baby Bennett Update

38 Weeks!

How far along? 38 Weeks! 

Total weight gain: Not sure.. I'd have to guess maybe 30 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Sometimes!

Stretch marks? A few, but nothing crazy.

Sleep: Sleeping good. Fighting a cold right now, but I'm sleeping pretty good.

Best moment this week: Finding out I'm 100% effaced at a 'loose' 1 cm. Let's do this!!!!

Miss anything? 5:30am WOD's.

Movement: SO much. Not sure who said that fetal movement slows down when you get farther along.. not this one!

Food cravings: Milk. 

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing this week.

Gender: Boy!

Labor Signs: 100% effaced, a 'loose' 1 cm dilated, back cramps, lots of pressure, braxton hicks.

Symptoms: Exhaustion, indigestion.

Belly Button in or out? In. This thing is not coming out!

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or Moody most of the time: You can never tell now-a-days. Watch out... Poor Brandon has emotional whip lash I think. 

Looking forward to: Holding our sweet little bundle of joy.

Other Bennett Updates:

Today, I just feel a little off. I've been battling a cold/allergies/sinuses something since Tuesday morning. Sore throat, runny nose, headache, blah! No fun. I woke up today after a decent night of sleep completely dragging. So exhausted. Also had a lot of lower back pain, which is similar to the menstrual cramps I get. Not related to the sciatic nerve pain at all. Lots of pressure and some cramping in my stomach as well. Bennett has been moving a TON today. I don't think he's sat still at all. I think someone is getting antsy.

At my check up on Tuesday I got checked. A 'loose' 1 cm dilated and 100% effaced. We've scheduled to be induced Friday, September 13th at 6:00 AM. If we make it that long...

Over the weekend when my brother was in town we were hoping that Bennett would show before he left, but he didn't. :( We tried walking, eating Papa Johns, a back massage, etc. Nothing worked!

At this point I have one more final Bennett update to do next Thursday. 

I wonder if we will make that update or not!
