Two Month Doctor's Appointment

Two Month Details

Clothes: For half of the month you were wearing newborns and then you moved into the 0-3 month outfits. They fit great! They are a little loose around the belly but fit good overall.

Health: Super healthy! The first week of daycare you had a tiny little tummy virus, but that passed quickly and seemed to not bother you much at all. We went to the doctor and found out that you do have reflux. Kinda figured that since you spit up 1-2 ounces in between feedings. We finally got you some meds and it's working out great!


'Wee I'm two months!'

Diet: Well, when we first went to the doctor about reflux, we learned that you were eating too much. You little piggy, you! So we cut you back to 3 ounces, and now you are eating 4!

Sleep: You are SUCH a great sleeper! I know you get that from your mama. You loooove to sleep. Once a week you will wake up around 3 to eat. But most days you sleep anywhere from 9:00-4:45 or even 9:00-6:00!

Baby Gear Love: You LOVE tummy time on your mat and hanging out in the swing. You also love tummy time on the boppy! 

Likes: Your 3 wubbanubs... those things are your best buds! You laugh and smile so big every time you wake up. You love to be swaddled, love bath time, the waves that put you to sleep, sleeping on your side, sleeping with the wubbanub, gripe water makes your belly stop hurting.

Dislikes: Waking up hungry, a full diaper, gas in the tummy.  

Crying: You only cry when something is wrong. And when you stick out that bottom pouty lip, I swear that it's the cutest thing I've ever seen. You cry when you need to burp, have a belly ache, hungry, full diaper. Really, that's it!

'Wait mom.. me? Two months?'

Milestones: For the first time you turned all the way over one night in your crib, with your butt sticking up in the air! Sleeping like your daddy slept when he was a baby. I lay you down one way at night and when I get you in the morning your head is at the other end of the crib. You monkey! You're now wearing size 1 diapers. You've started smiling at us.. and not just because you don't realize that you're making your face do it.. but because you realize who we are and you want to! :)


Another month down and I can't believe it. I feel like you were just born! Can't wait to see what month three will bring. We love you Bennett Lane.
