Five on Friday!

This week I am on a mission to catch up with blogging. Slowly but surely I am getting there. I am not a fan of getting behind because I love capturing the sweet moments of life and having them to look back on. With the attempt to catch up I'm highlighting 5 important things that have happened over the last.. well, however long it's been that I haven't blogged consistently.

1. Trunk or Treat / Halloween

One of my super sweet friends let me borrow a monster costume that was Bennett's size. After I saw how fuzzy, obnoxious and cute it was.. there was no way I was passing it up! I just giggled the entire time he was wearing it!

On Halloween we always go to mom's to pass out candy to the kids and eat chili. It's been a tradition for several years now. This year I had this sweet monster to help me!

2. Rocketown Charity Event / Silent Auction

In October Brandon and I got event by one of AdvoCare's corporate staff members to attend a charity event in Nashville. It was such an awesome experience and we were honored to be able to attend! There was a silent auction, dinner and a comedian that was hilarious! (and clean!) And it was pretty awesome that Carrie Underwood was 10 feet away. And yes, she is gorgeous. Just like on tv! ;) 

I walked around looking at some of the auction items really not planning on bidding anything, but I found something that stole my heart! A local small theatre was auction off 2 tickets to a Steel Magnolia's play. That is my mom's favorite movie! I had to get it!!! I started bidding when the time was almost up and after 4 bids it was mine! I was so excited.

 We went to the play this past Sunday and made a whole day out of it. Church, the play, and dinner after. It was such a great day! Especially considering this play is all about a mother's love. 

3. Needtobreathe

Needtobreathe is Brandon's favorite band and I, too recently fell in love with them! Randomly one day I decided to get online and see if they were on tour and if they were coming near us. They were! Two weeks out! So I bought tickets and surprised Brandon. It was at The Woods Amphitheater in Nashville. Awesome place! We brought a blanket and really enjoyed ourselves! It was a great date night.

What working from home looks like from time to time...

Helping me workout with my can you 24 dvd! The other day I was doing air squats. I turn around and he is staring at me doing air squats too! It was hilarious! He would do a few then lose his balance and fall over, then get back up and do it again!

5. Pursuit!

November 1 me and a car full of ladies drove to Knoxville for an AdvoCare women's event! Wow, talk about a great day. Nothing like being in a room full of inspiring women! 

So proud of this champion on our team. Sierra rocked her 24 Day Challenge! Toned up while building muscle and her in first month she earned an additional $1,000 in her first month just by helping others! This girl has got a bright future!

Loved being about to spend time with my friend Jennifer that lives a few hours away. It's been so long since I've seen her! So proud of this new momma. She recently hit a level in AdvoCare that pays an extra $12k a year! She's able to stay at home, but also fulfill her passion of teaching dance!

All of these women hold such a special place in my heart!
