About 10 minutes after the gender reveal party, when we found out we were having a girl, my mom and sister sat at the table grinning from ear to ear and said, "We already have a whole 'pink' pinterest board with the entire baby shower planned, along with the date and time so mark your calendar for May 31!"
And here we are. That date has come and gone as quickly as an afternoon summer storm. I can't even believe it! May 31 we celebrated Aubrey with a 'tea' or a 'sprinkle' and had a come and go shower. Brandon and I are so grateful for everyone that came to celebrate her and for all of the sweet ruffles, bloomers, bows, tutu's and all of the other girly things that I am so excited to be experiencing! Along with sorting through a massive fluffy pile of, 'Mom, how do I even wash this stuff?...' ;) Together we conquered the pile!
Here's a few pictures to remember this special day...
The theme was, 'Twinkle twinkle little star, do you know how loved you are?'
I hand made the banners and the table cloth back drop! It was too easy. Thanks Pinterest!
One of these gifts doesn't look like the other...
Bubbles.. 24/7
Bennett got some gifts from 'Ichael & KK' This hilarious gator shirt, which the mouth flaps open and you can see his tongue and teeth.
He loved it!
Aubrey got one similar... A dolphin!
Bennett giving Nana a back rub.
Bennett's shirt Nana got him to wear to meet his sister at the hospital. It says, 'Big Bro Bennett'. When I showed him the shirt he kept running up saying, 'Tractor! Tractor!'
