Hump Day!

16 February 2011

Gotta love Wednesday's! Middle of the week, getting ready for the weekend, after Wednesdays it's all downhill  and before you know it-it's Monday again! That, I love.

Today was an awesome Wednesday...with the exception that I can barely walk because my legs are sore from trying to get back into the groove. Being out 11 days sure does take a toll. Already feeling better though! I got to wear sandals to work today. I think that alone made the day great! Wore a coat into work, but that was the only time I wore it and during my lunch break I got to put my sunroof back!

It was so pretty out! And might I add...those are the perfect clouds for picking out shapes. That's one of my favorite things to do. I got Brandon loving it too, at first he thought it was one of those weird hillbilly things I like to do, but I know he likes it. ;) When I was younger me and dad would lay on the trampoline for what seemed like forever and picked out shapes of the clouds or laid out when it was dark out and would pick things out of the stars. Daddy's girl...what can I say? :)

It's that time of the deployment that I get to start my list of things to get ready for Brandon to get home. Ya know...gotta do the "GTL", along with a million other things this time. Considering there is such a time crunch from the time he gets home and the time we will be getting married...we have a FULL list. I think I'm busy now? Yeah right, I know it will be non-stop! Engagement pictures, registering, showers, premarital counseling, and moving. Geez! Gonna be busy. Anyhow, today I started packing up some stuff. Tucked my "valuables" away in a box to keep in the attic like year books, special dolls, scrapbooks...etc. Also started what mom likes to call "de-junking". MAN I have a lot of junk! Got some stuff to take to Plato's sometime this weekend. Hopefully I can get a little cash to put in our honeymoon fund.

Tomorrow is Thursday and the day after Thursday is Friday. Our countdown day! Tomorrow we have community group...I feel like I haven't been in forever! With the snow we've had to cancel a couple times and then the week before last I had my surgery. I'm glad Brandon and I were able to sneak into a group before he deployed. I love that we can do it even though he's gone. I absolutely LOVE digging into our relationship vs your everyday "small talk". I like to think that we have learned SO much about each other. Which really...our answers always match. If you knew us both well, it wouldn't surprise you...
