Nails, noodles, and numbers

Yesterday I went for a little pampering to get my nails done. This trip I went with My Chihuahua Bites! Been a favorite color of mine for a while now. It's always a tough choice between that and Cajun Shrimp. I realize how blessed I am that my toughest decision in life is picking out a nail color...

Last night for dinner, Michael came over to eat with me so I figured I would test out a new recipe. We had Chicken and Broccoli Pasta. Of course, I added a few of my own little twists, but as you can see from the pics it was amazing!

Chicken Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients:
1/2 (16 ounce) package linguine {I used my fav, bowtie}
1 cup fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets
2 tablespoons butter
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup (Regular, 98% Fat Free or 25% Less Sodium)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 tablespoon ground black pepper

Directions:
1. Cook Linguine according to package directions. Add broccoli for last 4 minutes of cooking time. Drain.
2. Heat butter in skillet. Cook chicken until browned, stirring often.
3. Add soup, milk,m cheese, black pepper and linguine mixture and heat through. Serve with additional Parmesan cheese.

For lunch today I went to eat with my Stephanie, Michael, and mom. We went to Submarina. {YUM!} They have the BEST subs! Believe it or not...I'm still full! I got the Baja Sandwich on Squaw Bread...love that bread.

823 is my favorite number. It is because that is the day I was born on. I always see it or find it in the most random places. On the clock, license plates, etc. My neatest finding is that it's my dream job's address backwards {328 College St.}. Um, weird! So, today it was on my bag of chips...

More hang time with the brother tonight and I couldn't be more excited because he's moving 12 hours away this Friday. Sad, but on the bright side hello new beach location! ;)


PS FINALLY got my Thank You Cards ordered today. What a shame...bad bride I know, geez! But the timing of them will make sense once every receives them!
