And then we arrived at the reception!

I'll start by showing some special details to reception hall.

Decorations for the dance floor

The delicious hors d'oeuvres

The dessert tower with cupcakes and truffles my sister made

Our wedding cake

When we arrived at the building my flower girl rushed straight out to walk me up to the building

When we got there the wedding party was introduced and entered into the building.

Then we were formally introduced for the first time as:
Mr. & Mrs. Brandon Forbes

As we entered, we went straight into our first dance

We danced to our song
Brad Paisley; She's Everything

After we danced our first dance, we went straight to the food! Chicken Salad, meatballs, deli wraps, and desserts!

While everyone was waiting for us to arrive, we had Forbes Trivia on their table to do. 10 questions I wrote about Brandon and 10 questions Brandon wrote about me. During grub time all of the answers were announced.

Then after we ate I went to say goodbye to a couple guests that were leaving and my pawpaw snagged me up for a quick dance!

After my dance with my pawpaw it was time for the big dad and daughter dance.

I picked out the song, by his favorite singer.
Tim McGraw; My Little Girl
{Daddy's girl, always}

After the serious dance, we got down to some REAL dancing!

Doing the twist with dad

Doing the twist with Sammie

Once that twist got going I was twisting all over the dance floor with my dress right behind me

Michael was twisting so much he spilled some punch on the floor...hello, white wedding dress!

Doing the chicken dance! Na-na-na-na-na-na-na!

After a little dancing we did the boquet toss
My cousin & bridesmaid Joanna caught it!

Then it was time for the garter toss

We had gift time right before we cut the cake. Everyone knows about sneaky right? The plastic snake that's snuck into my purse right before our Miami tip and has been our traveling companion ever since. Well, my gift to him was the groom's cake, as tradition, and he got me a gift as well. I had the chocolate cake made with a beach theme on top, since Brandon is from the beach and grew up surfing. Half the cake was the ocean and the other cake was the sand. In the sand was sneaky covered up with sand {Nutter Butter cookie and icing}! It took him a minute to figure it out and it was TOUGH hiding it for a month while he was being practiced on.

BUT I do have a picture of the gift he got me. It's a little box that has an engraving on the top. It says: "Our Journey Begins May 14, 2011".

Then we cut the cake and did our toasts

Let's be gentle...
{Almond cake, OMG yum!}

Cupcake Toast!

He got me, but now he's stuck with me forever. Payback one day...

Some pictures with family and friends

One of the activities for the guests to do while waiting for us to arrive was a photobooth that was set up! Lots of fun dress up items and fun things for everyone to pose with and wear.

Here we are at it!

Kisses

My mom found the neatest banner for us!

After the fun pictures with the photo booth it was time to head home and leave for our Honeymoon in Jamaica!
