GIRLS DAY
Saturday was spent early at the Greenway for some interval running with some of my favorite girls, then it was off for a fast pace beauty day! I had my hair appointment and went from blonde to brown! I love it♥ Can't believe the drastic change it made in everything. It makes my eyes, skin tone, everything look different!
After I got my hair done, it was time for my niece, Sammie to get hers done! The whole day for her was a huge surprise and I'm pretty sure she drove my mother completely nuts asking her every two seconds what was going on for the day! ;)
It started with a hair appointment to get a few highlights and a little trim. She was SO excited! She went from blonde all over to just adding a little "umph"! Then mom got her hair trimmed! So after we all got our hair did it was off to the mall for Sammie's next appointment! We went to Belk for some make up magic! Sammie sat in the chair and got a complete {natural} make over! Went from blues to browns and her bright blue eyes popped like when she was two ;) She was SO excited! After she was all done...
Then the queen got some pampering herself ;)
Then it was off to Walmart for some shopping. Found me and mom the cutest bracelets!
{BTW-there's my hair! :)}
While we were off having our girly day I 'conveniently' left my car at mom & dad's and dad cleaned up my car! ;) I haven't had a chance to get it washed, since all the random rain! Sure does look better with the tint!
After a long day of shopping and make overs I went home to get the pup and back to mom and dads for dinner and movie!
Over the weekend we spent lots of time with mom & dad and he was so excited and ready to go. He loves the car and I know it's because he knows he's going to visit!
Dad took this picture with his phone and had it sent to me by the time I got out of the car. That is a shock and man he is getting good at that iPhone.
Me and Sammie tempted to make Angel Food Cake Cupcakes...
That was a bust. But it's probably why there aren't directions for how to make them. But there was plenty of batter left over, so we made two loafs and YUM!
For dinner we had shrimp, sweet potatoes, and zucchini!
Healthy & Delish!
Then it was time for a movie and we watched Beastly. Such a good movie.
Puppy love!
Maybe he's getting a tad too big to ride in my lap...
Sunday started at the Greenway and then went and greeted the guests at the 11:30 service at Grace. After church went and laid out with Ashley by the pool. {FIRST TIME this year, minus Jamaica} Then after realizing that it was extremely hot and probably not that great for our skin we went the movies! Perfect relaxing Sunday!
