Amanda Forbes: Long time no...

BLOG!

Yeah, I know...it has been a while since I have blogged, so just to do a quick catch up and then I will be back to blogging regularly!Life has been going a thousand miles a minute. Geez, it's already August! My favorite months of the year.

So within the past week...

Mom and dad came over for dinner one night. I threw together an awesome chicken and pasta casserole that had bassically, whatever I could find in it. It was a hit and dad actually liked it! Sometimes it's hard to please his 'southern' belly. While they were over we watched some Big Brother and he got to play with his grandson. He's like a giant chew toy...

It's been nice having Brandon home and around. The three of us get to hang out all the time. Jaxon is finally shedding some of that 'puppy-ness' and is starting to really grow on us. We love our little fur baby and wouldn't trade him for anything!

Brandon has been doing some classes for work and Jaxon
loves to help 'distract' him!

In other Jenkins and Wynne news...we helped out our local foster kids at Phoenix Homes who didn't even have back packs for their first day of school. We raised enough backpacks AND plenty of supplies to go inside!

With the help of the Jenkins and Wynne team, family, friends, church friends, and many more we were able to send the kids off to school with all the supplies needed!

Women At The Wheel Launch Party

It went great! Especially considering we have a giant sink hole in front of our building. We had a fun bean bag game, treats, and prizes! It was a fun time and hopefully created lots of conversation.
