Patti's Settlement

09 August 2011

Saturday we went for a family day up to Kentucky to go visit Patti's Settlement and show Brandon to some awesome food. If you know Brandon, you know food is number 1, well...number 2 against me ;)

On the way we played around with the cam-wow ap I have. Talk about some laughs!

Brandon wearing my girly sunglasses..

Mom and Dad

Dad loves it!

Then we stopped off at a gas station and I ran into the famous race car driver, Kevin Harvick! He's shorter then I pictured...

We made it to Patti's!

We FINALLY got seated (should have made reservations) and got the famous flower pot bread and strawberry butter...YUM!

For lunch I got the Patti's Deluxe Burger with BBQ sauce and bacon. For sides I got a pickle, cole slaw, and homemade chips. Yes I ate it all, yes I have zero shame. It was amazing!

He loves me...

He loves me not...sike! ;)

After lunch to burn off the calories we walked around the little town, saw the 'petting zoo' and went to all the neat shops. Me and mom went to the girly ones and the guys went to an antique gun shop.

This is Esther the pig. She was awake and snorting around her little pin.

As sheltered as I am, I have never been to a store that actually sells Vera. Had a mini stroke when I saw this sign hanging out above the door. I could have spent a fortune in there. Didn't buy one thing, but pretty sure I gave away some birthday hints ;)

Then we found a store called The Pink Tractor. It was the girliest-pinkest store I have ever been in. Best thing about it was there were crowns everywhere!

There really was a pink tractor out front, too!

We finally made it out of the little town and Brandon and I slipped into a Patti's Coma on the way home...

Great way to spend a Saturday :)
