Date Weekend!

This weekend we had date weekend. Friday night we went to The Melting Pot, of course to celebrate the big promotion the hubs got. All I can say is, OMG! For many reasons. It was amazing from the atmosphere to the food and it was so filling!

Appetizer was beer cheese dip with bread, veggies, chips, and apples. For the salads he got a shrimp type salad and I got the house salad with house dressing. Thanks Fran! ;)


Dinner..

Filet Mignon, Shrimp, Chicken, Steak, Pork, Ravioli, and Brandon's favorite...Lobster tail!

Absolutely amazing!

We were already stuffed, but of course we had to make room for dessert! We got the Yin & Yang chocoalte that came with Strawberries, Rice Krispy Treats, Brownies, Bananas, Cheesecake, Pound Cake, Marshmallows covered with Graham Crackers and Oreos, and of course a cheery on top for me! :)

Saturday during the day was spent running all kinds of errands and an hour at the gym, of course. Had to get my run in! Saturday night we had date night with friends! We had a quick dinner at the house and then went to jazz for a bit and then met up with some more friends.

Finally got to wear my boots!

Brandon said, 'Let's take one of those staged pictures in front of a mirror, like myspace.' Love his humor. :)

Got some Fran time outside of work. Crashed a 10 year reunion. Well...sorta. ;) Good times!


Sunday ended piled up on my parents couch with a Lifetime Movie and pork chops from the Crock Pot which was delicious! Yum, yum. What a great weekend it was. I love when my Brandon is home!
