Hmm...as I write this I am a little overwhelmed at how much catching up to do, but I seriously have some great excuses....here goes!
Saturday I spent the day shopping with one of my favorite girls! We had the best time. I hadn't had a big fat girls shopping trip in a while. We went straight to Forever 21, of course and found some great finds! I got 4 tank tops under $5, and 3 shirts under $10. My most expensive buy was a bag. I finally found my dream bag that I've been looking for, for only oh...3 years now. Tan is the best color bag to have, because you can wear it whenever. I honestly almost had a stroke when I found it. It's huge and I love it.
This picture does not do it justice.
Then we went to Macy's and found some more great deals. I got a nice pair of Levi Jeans. They're flare, comfy, fit good and I can't wait to wear them out this fall/winter! I also found a CUTE $10 tank.
After Macy's we headed straight to the food court. I'm tellin' you what...shopping is a work out! Tough decision on what to get but we chose pizza and it was YUM! Perfect choice! Sbarro, which we don't have in town...
Pepperoni and cheese...pizza thing and cesar salad. De-lish!
After shopping we headed home...and I did some cleaning and then was off to a one year old Birthday Party, for Will, a sweet little boy is from a couple in our old Community Group with church. I can't believe he is one!
Theme was, 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. Precious.
His momma made that shirt, how crafty is she?! ;)
Cake time! He made the biggest mess, but had the best time!
For the rest of the weekend I did some 'fall' cleaning. It was so nice. I'm sure you are thinking, 'Um..didn't you just move into your house?' Why, yes we did. However, we are extremely OCD about a clean house and no junk. I'm sure this will all change when we have kids. But, we'll see...
Being newlyweds, we have zero decorations for the holidays &/or seasons, but with one trip to Wal-Mart, that was taken care of! I got some of the cutest decorations and within 20 minutes-BAM! It's fall at the Forbes!
Also had some yummy food. Mom has been on a crock pot kick, thanks to the 'Crock Pot Girls' on facebook. I mean, I'm not complaining...
So far we've had ribs, chicken, lasagna, and cake all from the crock pot.
Chocolate Lava Cake {&vanilla ice cream}
What have I been doing in the kitchen? Not much, to be honest...but I did make a new dip. I love dip. Slightly obsessed with them.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Labor Day off and got sucked into the marathon of Dance Moms. Anyone else watch that? I am loving it. Yeap, I was couch bound all day and it was awesome. Being off for one day though, has made this week at work CRAZY! Can't believe it's already Thursday! Today I went to the dentist and left with an A+ {as usual}.
Well, those are all of my excuses for just now blogging. Hope everyone had a great Labor Day and is having a great week!
