Tuesday October 25 mom and I had a mom & daughter date to go see the play Wicked at Tpac!
It was amazing because:
-We hardly ever leave Clarksville
-We've never been to a play
-Mom & daughter time is always the best
We dipped out of work a little early from work and met up for our big adventure!
I got to see my sweet Simba!
He got a hair cut and was sportin' a cute Halloween bandanna from the groomers.
Me and mom ready to go! :)
As soon as we got to Nashville we saw this banner hanging
and got really excited!
We parked in a parking garage and walked a few blocks over and found The Old Spaghetti Factory. Mom has ate there before, but I've never been there before so I was excited to eat somewhere new! Mom got a ravioli that was spinach stuffed and I went with the spinach tortellini with meat and cheese inside!
It was delish!
My favorite thing about The Old Spaghetti Factory is that we got a little scoop of ice cream for dessert. What a perfect treat for mom and I!
After dinner we were off to the play...had to walk a few blocks, but we made it! We had great seats too!
The play was amazing. I would hate to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it {if you haven't-GO!} But I can at least tell you what it was about... Wicked is about the wicked witch from the Wizard Of Oz. It goes back to when the wicked witch was born and takes you up and through the Wizard Of Oz. I think my favorite thing about the whole play is that it's a 'behind the scenes' type story of a classic movie that everyone has grown to love. I will never be able to watch the Wizard Of Oz the same-and that's a good thing! :) I am so eager to try and find the time and read the book. The play was phenomenal and I'm so grateful I got to enjoy this experience with mom! :)
Walked an extra block on the way back to the parking garage but got a great picture of the batman tower through the detour.
Thanks mom for being the best date ever!♥ {Sorry Brandon ;)}
You're welcome and DITTO! Had a great time building memories :)
