So, remember in middle school when you could only have one BFF? Well I have one and his name is Jaxon♥
Sorry Brandon! ;)
The day we picked him up, just a little ball of fur!
See that one mustache? He's still got it ;)
'Mom, I love car rides!'
Jaxon is 7 months old. Finally leveling out weight wise. He weighs 34 lbs. We were told max would be 40lbs. I hope he stays put! He is currently shedding is baby coat {going through puberty} AND going through his fall coat. I can't wait for him to get through it!!
'Mom, go faster!'
Jaxon is officially fully potty trained. He knows how to sit, lay down, 'off', 'go potty', 'kennel', 'getcha toy', 'bone', NO, 'go for a run', 'Grandpa'.
He LOVES to go to grandpa's. When I say his name he goes nuts and runs to the garage door ready to go! He loves playing with grandpa. Grandpa taught him how to catch the frisbee and completely wears him out! Now let's not forget about grandma...he loves to cuddle with his grandma after a long day or playing. :)
'I love you, mom.'
Jaxon is the biggest cuddler. So, it turns out I got my lap dog after all! What girl doesn't want a pup to love on them after a long day. Now, mine might not do it until after an hour or two of running nuts, but he does love to snuggle with his momma! Although he thinks he's 5lbs...he's a bit heavy when he stretches out all the way across my belly. Silly pup!
Baff time!
Jacon doesn't mind a bath. He really just stands there and drinks the water. I've never had a dog over 12 lbs...so baths have always been pretty easy. Considering...he's not that big of a pain. ;)
Jaxon is far from spoiled.
Hahahaha just kidding. There is a place in town called Bill's Wholesale. If you live in town and have never been you are totally missing out. Especially if you are a boy. Everything in the picture above-grand total: $13 bucks! I know right? If we would have got that stuff at Petsmart or even Walmart we would have spent a good $20+. The way he eats his toys and his boys we would be broke by now. So glad we found this!
'Pick-a bone, any bone'
Brandon and I read in a puppy training book how to 'treat' the dog with treats! From 3-6 months you are supposed to leave raw hides, chews, bones constantly out for them to chew on while they are teething. So it said to lay out all the treats and they will pick out which one they want the most. Brandon and I always bet to see which one he takes. It's so fun. We do that with new toys we get him too!
awwww he's adorable! =) It's sad how fast they grow! I treat mine as if its an actual baby lol Love the little nugget! that treat idea is a good one! i'll try it out. =)
