Little catchin' up to do!

10 December 2011

What a week! I can't believe it's already Saturday! Not complaining. Glad it's finally the weekend :) I got some random pictures to post and catching up to do, due to my blog slackin' this week.

I think the best things about the candy Brandon got from Germany is these mini gummy packs. It's perfect for that sweet tooth that haunts me when I'm training!

We had a few crock pot meals this week, being this time of year, not much time for me to work 8 hours, hit the gym, and slave over the stove too!

White Chicken Chili

Ingredients:
3 chicken breasts {frozen}
2 cans of great white northern beans
1 can chicken broth
1 can diced tomatoes
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp pepper

Directions:
1. Add all ingredients together in the crock pot and stir well.
2. Then place chicken breasts in the crock pot.
3. Cook 5-6 hours on low.

We've finally got some of our Christmas presents wrapped. It's so nice to see them under the tree on our skirt!

We got around to making our Gingerbread House this year. This is our third house we've done and I'm so glad we've gained a little experience. This year this one looks great! So proud of our work :)

It smells so yummy sitting on our counter!

Tonight we are going to The Opryland Hotel to check out the lights. I can't wait! We've wanted to do it for years, but there was always a reason we couldn't go. It's going to be so fun, because the whole family is going. There is nothing I love more then the Christmas Season and everyone being home together!

  1. Your blog always makes me happy hehe. Question about the slow cooker chili, if I work 8 hours and put it on before I leave the house will it be over cooked by the time I get home or will it be okay?
