Happy New Year!

05 January 2012

Woah...it's January 5th? The Forbes have been on fast forward since the new year! So many changes have already been made and so many things have been going on for us! Let me start off with the new year...

This New Years Eve was our first New Years together. Last year Brandon was many many miles away, we were not hitched, and we didn't live together! Crazy how things change all in one short year.

We spent New Years Eve-Eve on a hot double date with a sweet couple! We went to Long Horn for some grub and then grabbed a few drinks. Such a fun night!

Woops, chopped his hair off ;)

Love me some Fran.

New Years Eve we spent the day shopping with our Christmas Gift Cards! Bed Bath & Beyond, KIRKLANDS!, Target, Walmart, and many other places. A very fun/tiring day. I will show what we bought in a post very soon to come!

For New Years Eve we spent it inside at our house with mom and dad! Thanks to the boot, we decided to keep it simple this year. We made tons of little mini appetizers to eat and had wine and champagne ready to bring in the New Year. Oh...and Fireworks.

Here's some photos to remember our first New Years.

Of course my nails were lookin' great. Love a deep purple. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's a dark purple with gold sparkles all in it.

Bringing in the new year with a bang!

Dad was a little under the weather thanks to my brother passing on a nasty stomach bug before he left town. Him and Jaxon played and then took a nap.

Precious, right? He is my angel.

At midnight we watched Dick Clark, Ryan Seacrest, and who else but Lady Gaga drop the ball! Kissed, Toasted, and Happy New Years!

New Years Day we went to church and then hung out at moms all day. Did a few DIY projects and had an awesome meal for dinner. Couldn't forget to get in our Black Eyed Peas!

As far as New Years Resolutions...I really don't have very many. I eat well, hit the gym regularly, and just really not sure what I'd like to make big changes in my life with. I have a few for sure (mostly fitness)...

-Grow in my walk with Christ. Lean on him more.
-Stop rushing life by. Live in the moment.
-Run a half marathon.
-Complete a Sprint Triathlon.
-Swim 2 miles, without stopping.
