January 28, 2011 we put to sleep the sweetest pup that we have ever known. He brought so much love and life to our family and home. I got him as a gift in elementary school. I remember it like it was yesterday. I walked in the house one night after dance and was sitting in the living room. I heard this noise and I was like, 'What is that?' Dad said, 'It's the tv.' {With a sly grin on his face...} I said, 'Oh, ok.' A few minutes passed and I could still hear the noise! I look at mom and dad and said, 'That's not the TV!' Dad said, 'Fine...go see for yourself.' I ran down the hall and there he was whining and whimpering in a little kennel, scared to death! Ever since then he has been spoiled to death and lived like a true king. Daily belly rubs, walks down the street, bologna from dad... Weekly baths and hair brushes that he loved... Monthly trips to get a 'hair cut' that left him flying and barking up and down the hall so excited to go! Mom swore that on the trip there he was barking, 'Hurry, hurry!'. In the summer he loved to sit outside on the patio and hope that anyone and everyone would drop watermelon, which he loooved! He was 'my dog' initially...but him and daddy were the biggest pals of them all. The pitter patter of his feet and claws followed dad down the hall. His seat was beside dad on the couch. He went nuts when anyone said, 'Daddy's home!'. A true man's best friend, even if he wasn't but 1 foot tall and weighed 13 lbs.

The name came from my favorite movie, The Lion King.
Dad wanted to name him, 'Wolf'. Haha
