So, yeah this weekend I feel like we did nothing but eat, but that was the plan as today I have started my 7 day cleanse! So, here's the weekend recap:
Painted my nail. I'm bored with all the colors I have, which this is not all of them, buuut I was in a nude kinda mood. So here were my choices...
I suck with this one, 'Broach the Subject'. I was a little unsure at first, I mean it kinda looks like I painted my nails with foundation. But, I fell in love!
Friday night for dinner we had spaghetti and salad. A great traditional go to. It was delicious! Brandon wanted me to take a picture, so I could blog about our portion difference. Mine is the big one. Kidding! But I could probably eat all of that and be ok. ;)
We hit up Camwow. Love this ap!
Saturday morning we lounged around until we headed out for the day. Snapped of picture of this sign I have hanging in our closet. He left this for me on August 20, 2010. I love sweet memories.
We left the house and went to the Goodwill. It was 1/2 price day and nuts! I decided to sit this month out. We went looking for a frame for a DIY project we're working on. Didn't find one, so the hunt continues. Then we went and ate breakfast at Rudy's Dinner. A fun little dinner that is similar to the awful waffle, but a bit cleaner and a ton better! It's one of those things in Clarksville that not too many people know about. The food was amazing. Brandon got a steak and kept talking about how good it was all day!
Then we went across the street to the new Publix. Spent liiiike 20 minutes trying to find parking. And then went in to see just a normal over priced grocery store. It was nice, don't get me wrong, but a little pricey. Not really in my area anyways, so probably won't go there much!
We ran a few more errands and then had lunch at McDonalds. Why, not sure? I grew up eating Big Macs and have been craving one for a while. Haven't had one in over a year. Well, I remember why not. I was sick like, for the rest of the day. Never eating there again. Nightmare.
Brandon worked on his new truck some shinning it up. Jaxon watched :)
I fell asleep with an upset belly and woke up to these :) 'Because I love you' flowers. They are the best!
Saturday night we went to Fran's for some dinner and games! Dinner was amazing. Steak, potatoes, pasta salad, and rolls. Yum! We got to hang out with Chloe and Carter. Sweetest two kids alive! I got to play some card games with Chloe and color. She is by far, my favorite 5 year old! ;)
Sunday morning, I got up early and cooked some breakfast. Who says you can't have the Cracker Barrel at home? These pancakes are made with Buckwheat Flour, water, cinnamon, honey, and nutmeg.
We went to church and had a great sermon, as usual. We started a new sermon on Galatians. It was great! Then we went to lunch at Rafferty's! A new favorite. I had a bad experience there a few years ago and pretty much sworn it off. I got a cheese burger and fries and it was amazing. Brandon is stuck on their Kona Chicken with the pineapple. It was good!
We took Jax over to grandma and grandpa's! We spent the afternoon lounging around and we watched the movie Contagion. So good! Did you know that the average person touches their face two THOUSAND times a day? Nasty!!!!!!
For dinner mom made homemade French Dip Roast Beef sandwiches. Uh...yum! Never had those before! Where the heck have I been?!
To finish off my 'last meal' we had Ben & Jerry's Cheesecake Brownie Ice cream. Oh man...have you ever had this stuff before? This stuff is amazing. Best ice cream ever. We haven't been able to find it for like the past month and I was sweating! I didn't eat the whole thing, but man I could have!
All, in all we had a pretty good weekend. I love weekends where we don't have anything to do! ;)
Wish me luck on my cleanse and on my doctors visit tomorrow. They just called to confirm and I said YES I WILL BE THERE I AM SO EXICTED and the nurse was like ...ok, see you then. CLICK. sorry lady, I've had this boot on for 7 weeks and I can't wait to get it off! {Hopefully}
Sounds like a fun and busy weekend!
