Today I'm linking up with Lauren at The Little Things We Do for
1. If money wasn't an issue, the first thing I'd cross of my life list is buying my parents a house on the lake.
2. Dipping my baked chicken in mustard is something I like that other people think is weird.
3. If my life were a movie right now, the title would be The Real Housewife of Clarksville + boot.
4. Three things I am looking forward to this month are Getting my boot off so I can start my training for the half, Brandon and I's first Valentines Day, and Brandon's mom coming to visit!
5. My favorite song to sing in the shower is whatever is playing on my iHome dock!
6. If I found out that the production of pizza and oreo ice cream/my Nike running shoes was ending this month, I'd go out and buy as much as I could tomorrow.
7. One thing I'll never grow tired of is waking up every morning to Brandon and Jaxon!
Link up with Lauren!
This weekend we have tons of fun plans and a DIY project. Gonna be a great weekend and hopefully the last one with this boot on!
I have had a friend mention this March Closet Challenge she saw on a blog. Take a look and let me know your thoughts. Would you want to partake? I think it would be a great way to force yourself to find new outfits, that are right inside your closet! I plan on committing, as long as I don't have the boot on anymore.
1. Pick 30 items from your closet!
Here is what we recommend:
-6 neutral colors. This can be in a variety of pants/shirts/tanks/skirts/shoes etc. This allows you to vary it up and not have so many colors clash!
-A few patterned tops- plaid, floral, animal print etc.
-1 pair colored skirt/pants for a variety
-1 pair of each: flats, heels, boots and whatever other shoe. (total of about 5)
-4-5 layering pieces (cardigan, sweaters, blazers, etc) accessories such as scarves, jewelry, etc DO NOT COUNT as your 30 items and you don’t need to plan for lounge clothes after work!
2. From the above items- you will need to make 30 DIFFERENT outfits.
NO REPEATERS!
Before you get started with your outfits- take a picture of all your tops, pants, shoes. To make it easier for you- you could lay all your tops on your bed and take one picture. No need to take individual pictures unless you prefer to do it that way! ‘ We suggest mapping out your outfits for the next 30 days so you don’t have to think about it- you can just wake up and get dressed and know you are not repeating your outfits!
_________ (shirt) + __________ (Pants) + ___________ (shoes) on Thursday, Feb 2nd.
3. No shopping for 30 days!!!
Are you interested? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Happy weekend friends!
Hi Amanda! Sorry to contact you via the comments but I didn't see your email address anywhere. I was just wondering if I could have the contact of who designed your blog! I just absolutely love it. Thanks!
