What I'm Loving Wednesday!

17 October 2012

It's not hard to guess What I'm Loving this Wednesday!

Today I'm linking up with Jamie for

I'm loving that my Brandon is home!
A month ago he left for a month long deployment. It was extremely last minute and unexpected, so talk about a wake up call! He's always told me, 'So you know I could leave at anytime, right?' And I'm all, 'Ha! Ok. Yeah... You're just trying to sound cool.' Well, no. He was serious. When Brandon's gone I always use the opportunity to get closer to my God. What else am I going to do? I'm so grateful that I have him to turn to.

Here's a welcome home banner I made for Brandon last summer.
I dragged it out to use it again in our new house. As you can tell, Jax was so excited!!

While I was waiting and waiting and waiting for the special text and phone call I had to keep myself busy.

I knocked out another run at Rudolphtown.

Painted my nails and toe nails. Fran let me borrow this color. I love it so much, I might not give it back. ;)

Then I ate some dinner and watched Tangled. This is the third time I've seen it. Have you seen it? That horse acts just like Jax! So funny!!

PS. I want a little castle like this.

Then, I finally got the text!

Before I could go pick him up, he had some business to take care of. Boo! I finally left the house at 11:45 after a cat nap {yawn} and drove the endless roads to pick him up.

Running and jumping into his arms is something that will never get old. A moment that I know we both treasure so much. A feeling of nervous, heart beating like crazy, so excited you can barely stand it, stupid grin from ear to ear... I love it. In that moment nothing else matters.
We've crossed the finish line and it feels so good!

The past day I've enjoyed the simple things. Like being able to text. Calling him whenever I want. Not having to worrying about my phone being on me at all times, getting told 'I love you' more then once a day. It's the little things in life that so many people take for granted.

What are you loving this Wednesday? Link up!

  1. You're such a beautiful couple! Congrats on having him home again! I assume he's military...I have such deep respect and appreciation for our military.

I think I might have that exact shade of Essie, and yes, I love it too! As for Tangled...I keep telling myself I'm going to watch it, but I still haven't yet.

Do stop by my blog and say hello when you get a moment!
