This Weekend I...

11 March 2013

Today I'm linking up with Sarah for...

Friday night I spent cleaning, Walmart, and testing out a new recipe. Blog post on the recipes from the weekend to come.. I also laid around and watched Madagascar. King Julien.. he never gets old. ;)

Saturday morning I made some breakfast. I love a good breakfast.
Egg whites, turkey sausage, and banana buckwheat waffles. + gotta get the dairy in for the baby.
Chocolate milk. Yum!

After breakfast I got Jax and treated him to a special spa day. Kidding....sorta. My friend told me about the wonderful Furminator. Oh, furminator.. where have you been the past year? The shedding in my house is manageable  Until we got this newest little shedder.. I can already tell the difference it's made and I've only done Jaxon.
It's a shampoo, conditioner, and brush. You shampoo for 5-10 minutes. Condition for 5-10 minutes and then brush for 20. Amazing. It truly works wonders. How Jaxon is not bald.. I will never know! If you have a dog that sheds, I highly recommend.
{And get the brush off Amazon. It's cheaper then the pet store!}

Saturday afternoon Brandon got a special treat from me. An hour professional massage. Love him. <3
Lord knows I needed it! We have found a school that gives massages for super cheap. It's our special hide out. ;)

Saturday night my sweet friend came over. We made an awesome recipe from Dashing Dish. Seriously, I can't stop talking about it and I'm so excited that I have so much leftovers! It's the Buffalo Chicken Chili. Uh, yum. The wing sauce totally makes it!

We went and got Blizzards. Buy one get one 99 cents.. hello!

Then this ladies man.. Such a suck up ;)

We watched Breaking Dawn Part 2. Well, Ashley did. Me and Baby Forbes slept through... all of it.

Sunday went to church. Awesome new series about Evidence!

After church went to mom and dad's for the afternoon with the crazy hoodlums!

Got into mom's nail stash. Choices, choices...
Peach Daiquiri, Fiesta, and Watermelon
I went with the Peach Daiquiri! Picking a bright color...come on summer!!

Then we watched Breaking Dawn Part 2. Actually stayed awake. I saw it in theaters, but it was good to see again. I've seen all 5. Such a great love story. My favorite scene of all the movies was the last few minutes. Hello sappy love scene! What can I say.. I'm a sucker for those. ;)

Dad didn't disappoint with dinner, either! It was so beautiful outside that he fired up the grill. Haven't had a home cooked 'Sheppard' meal in quite some time. Love it!

Took the boys home and Trigger went straight to his kennel. At 6:30PM. I'm like, 'Hello.. it's not bedtime what are you doing?' He was that pooped! It's tough work running around at grandma and grandpa's all day!

Normally I listen to them run around like crazy all morning.. They were still knocked out this morning!
