Blog Catch Up!

24 May 2013

Brandon had been away for a few weeks on a work trip. Luckily it was at his home town and he was able to spend quite a bit of time with his family. While he was there it was our anniversary, my 'first' Mother's Day, and his birthday that next week. We got lots of sweet treats and goodies while he was there!

Bibs, books, blankets, teething toys, etc.

Some super cute outfits from the surf shop and one from his Aunt Terri that says, 'My Auntie Rocks!'

Some special dad books and a few Richard Scarry books from Brandon's Grandma which is what she read him growing up. So special!

Brandon picked out a few things of his own to bring home...
Like this onesie for Bennett...

And yummy Salt Water Taffy from Forbes Candies. Yum!

My favorite thing about Brandon being home is cooking a big breakfast for two!

We woke up last Saturday morning to knock out a HUGE around the house/before Baby Bennett to do list. Just those annoying chores we kept pushing off and pushing off. We cleaned and organized the garage, organized some tubs of junk we had to go through, made a gate in the fence so the lawn mower will fit in the back yard, got the grass cut, etc. It feels SO good to get all that stuff taken care of and marked off the list!

To celebrate our day of knocking stuff off our list we had Which Wich. Yum!

Later that day we had our big vet appointment for the pups. An exam and nail clipping for Jax and dun, dun, dun... neutering for Trigger! It's finally that time. Praise Jesus! Time to calm it down!

Vet time with Dad!

After Trig got neutered he was way out of it. We left him in his kennel to sleep off the anesthesia and when we got home he was good as new! Still a little sleepy, but he was back to his chipper self. He's a big boy now!

Sweet snugglers. They're best buds!

  1. Lots of fun gifts for your little one. Does your husband's family own a candy company?? Because that is awesome!

I nominated you for a Liebster award if you want to play along.
