Weekend Recap

This weekend we celebrated my brother and his fiance as they were in town for their wedding shower. Fun times! So glad they were in town and we got spend time with them.

It was beautiful! This wedding shower was a surprise 'honeymoon' themed shower!

I was in charge of a few games. One of which, Michael had to make, what he thinks Kristina's wedding dress will look like, out of toilet paper. He came up with a two piece dress and a beautiful train that was tucked into her sandals. Nice!

After the shower I went out with the girls to dinner for the pre-bachelorette festivities! Stayed home for the party, but enjoyed being able to partake in dinner!

Sunday consisted of nothing. Seriously. When is the last time we did that? I don't think in the whole two years we have been married that we have ever stayed in our pjs all day and did nothing. What better time to do it when when I'm 7 months pregnant? The culprit? Apple TV. We cut off our Directv and only have Apple TV now with Hulu and Netflix. Bye, bye pointless cable bill! We barely watch enough TV to be paying the ridiculous amount that they charge. They've been calling all week begging for us to stay. Nope, sorry. 

I did wake up and make those Homemade Blueberry Muffins that I pinned over two months ago {darn you pinterest} and have been eyeing. Check out the recipe, here. They were awesome!

Also over the weekend I did a little shopping. Hit the mother load at TJ Maxx. I either strike serious gold there or end up with absolutely nothing. Big findings this time! Thanks Bennett for helping me grow my closet.

Also had to get dresses to take on vacation. Now I don't have to worry about wearing pants. Too hot and my belly is getting way too big! Speaking of vacation...

Since we now have two sweet boys, mom and dad have declined our request for them to dog sit. Boo! We found a wonderful kennel that we will be boarding them at and I'm so excited to take them. Especially since my friends mom runs it and they just got TWO awards for the Favorite Kennel and Favorite Place To Take Your Pet in our home town. Good stuff! But... I am being a HUGE sissy! What am I going to do with Brandon and I want to go on vacation and we have to leave Bennett behind? Geez. I'm sad enough leaving the dogs!

Considering this is mine and Brandon's first actual vacation since our honeymoon, I am so excited to get away to the beach! We're going to his home town, so we will get to spend time with his family, but we will also get lots of time at beach! Can't wait to see the ocean, get my toes in the sand, and finally see my man surf! ;)
