How far along? 34 Weeks

Total weight gain: Honestly have no clue!

Maternity clothes? Some regular and some maternity.

Stretch marks? One for now.

Sleep: Not so good. :( Lots of back pain, lots of restroom trips and lots of anxious thoughts about our baby that's on his way.

Best moment this week: Getting to hear the pitter patter of his little heart beat at the doctor.

Miss anything? Being able to bend and stretch my back out really good.

Movement: So much! What's he doing in there?! Having a personal party.

Food cravings: Nothing too crazy this week. Had a chocolate chip cookie from Chick Fil A that was to die for. Completely mouth watering. I'll probably be swinging through the drive up just for a cookie. Yeap.. I'll be that prego. 'Hi! One Chocolate Chip Cookie please!'

Anything making you queasy or sick: Haven't ran into anything this week.

Gender: Boy!

Labor Signs: None yet.

Symptoms: Back pain. Lots of it.

Belly Button in or out? It's not out yet. But, it's not really 'in' either.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy for our boy to be here.

Looking forward to: Baby shower next Saturday!

Other Bennett Updates:

Two weeks ago we had our 3D Ultrasound. Bennett weighted 4lbs and 9oz. From that week on he is to gain a 1/2 lb a week. Do you know that means that he know weighs roughly 5 1/2lbs - 6lbs right now. We have 5 weeks to go. Gonna be a big boy! 

 I'm really starting to feel the third trimester drag. Especially this week.. and maybe it's because we have seriously had a non-stop crazy busy week and I have had no down time what-so-ever. Plus the recent realization that our boy will be here very soon and we still don't have much and have a ton of things to do like.. pack my hospital bag. Everyone keeps asking me if I have it packed. Nope! Every time someone asks me that I go in to panic mode. So, if you see me-don't ask that question. Another question.. is that car seat in the car? No. Don't ask that either. Speaking of car seats.. We learned last night at our prenatal class that 85% of car seats are installed wrong. Definitely swinging by the police station to make sure ours is installed correctly!

I think this sign that is posted as you walk into the OBGYN clinic is pretty funny. When we first walked in Brandon said, 'How are you supposed to come in?' 

Monday I had a baby appointment. All is well! This is my last two week gap and then I start seeing the doctor weekly. Crazy! We're looking into possibly getting another ultrasound. I'm measuring 'big' as in, possibly a tad ahead of schedule. They'll make a final decision when I go to my next appointment. 

Brandon always goes to the appointments with me. This week he brought me a treat. Cookie Monster! :)

Tuesday night I had my breast feeding class. I was excited to go as I have done zero research and reading up on breastfeeding. I figured the class would be good enough! I got a book and some helpful handouts along with the two hour class. Very informative! So glad I went. I was thinking about ditching to slap, but I'm glad I didn't!

Last night we had our final class of our 5 week prenatal classes. Glad they're finally over and so glad we did them. Last night we got to tour the birthing center at our hospital. That was exciting! I've had countless surgeries and have yet to have a bad experience there and I've heard nothing but wonderful things about the birthing center. After getting to see what the labor and delivery rooms look like and what the post pardum rooms look like... I got pretty excited! I can finally have some what of a 'picture' when I think about what's to come. And I know Brandon was excited to find out that he will have a couch to sleep on that pulls out into a king size bed! The rooms are so, so nice. I'm sure it's because the hospital was built just a few years ago.. so that's definitely a plus too! I can't believe how soon it will. 


5 weeks and 5 days-ish. Crazy!
