Mom Life; Details & Being Intentional.

19 December 2013

Lately I've been thinking about all of the sweet details. How small and tiny the hands, fingers, toes, lips, etc. are. They won't be this tiny forever. He's starting to get pretty plump, might I add. I just can't get over how big he is getting. Way too big for my liking. Yes-I am always dreaming of the future. When he will roll over, sit up, walk, and even talk. Brandon and I can day dream for days smiling ear to ear about how cool it will be for him to walk and run and play baseball-if he chooses. But for now, I constantly remind myself of how he is only this size once and how he will grow up right before my eyes and before I know it. Now that I'm a mom I take a million pictures a day, or so it seems, but I know in 20 years, I will be so grateful I did. Being intentional. So incredibly important. Remembering the details is also just as important. I'm grateful for this blog and our journey so far and how I have got the chance to capture all of the moments through here. I'm even more grateful now to do the same with Bennett.

My favorite details.

Go Titans!

Sock Thrower...

Still sleeping at 6:45 am. The usual.

Watching a Charlie Brown Christmas with Daddy.

Boog's first time in the bumbo. He loved it/was really confused. Look at that face though...
'Yeah that's right. I'm in my bumbo. What? And don't hate on my santa feet either'

'Dad look at me!'

'Wooooah.'

Poor Jax.

Love this picture. With the camera flipped he found himself.

A few weeks ago, Bennett was having a random 'I need to be held only' moment, and I had several things to get done, so I finally drug out a cheap sling I ordered online. I got a cheap one, because I didn't know how practical it would be for our lifestlye and if I would need it. It was awesome! I've only used it a few times, but I love it when I need it. And so does he!
Here's where I got it: Baby Sling

Caterpillar.

Back seat driver. He's the cutest one I've ever had.
