Five Month Details

Clothes: Half way through your fourth month, you way out grew your 3 month outfits! Those are all too small now. You're starting to fill out your clothes more now that your belly is expanding. Little piggy. Still very, very, very long!

Health: Healthy boy! Still the occasional cold. But I know that is thanks to this ridiculously bone chilling cold weather we've had. Other then the random sniffles you are very healthy!

Diet: Piggy! At four and a half months we started making and eating food! You LOVE sweet potatoes and have began to like the bananas and rice cereal for breakfast. Next we will try carrots. I've made your sweet potatoes through the baby bullet and continue to plan to use that for your vegetables! So easy.

Sleep: Well, during the fourth month we learned that you need to be 'weaned' from the swaddle. The 3 nights we went from swaddle to sleep sack you were up 3-4 times. Guessing you probably whacked yourself a few times with those crazy wild arms you can't control just yet. We are in the weaning process of swaddling, but you are still sleeping wonderfully! Baby Gear Love: Oh boy. This month you figured out how to move those legs. Still no control.. but with legs moving, that means you can now JUMP! Boy do you love jumping. (Still using the pillow for help) You think it's the funniest thing in the world! You are actually content for quite some time in the jumperoo. You love the walker. Even though you can't touch the ground in that yet. You love the bumbo, crawl ball, and high chair with toys on it.

Likes: You love when we come to get you out of the crib in the morning. You love kisses from Jaxon and Trigger. You love giggling with daddy.. he can make you laugh and giggle so hard. You love your wubanub and you've started to play with car seat toys!

Dislikes: Belly aches. A poopy diaper.

Crying: Only when you're upset or tired. Gas bubbles, dirty diaper.

Milestones: Gosh. So many! You're now... moving your arms and legs like crazy. Touching your toes. Playing with toys. Jumping in the jumperoo. Eating food. Sucking your thumb.

Bennett Lane, you are so big. We love you so very much. Can't wait to see what is in store next month!
