Since I missed out on Five on Friday, I'll do Six on Saturday to play catch up!
1. Bennett is crawling.
Yes. He is. It's official. I'd say the date when he really got going was last Sunday May 4. That's when he finally realized that he could actually go somewhere. He was in the rocking stage for a while. Then he began moving a few steps and then he was sit back on his butt for a pit stop. Now he's going farther and farther. Definitely not full force just yet, but he is moving!
And because of that he is starting to get into everything. Everything he doesn't need to get into. He will have a huge load of his toys surrounding him and he finds a way to inch his way over to something he doesn't need to be touching. Kitchen rug, stairs, air vents. Lord here we go. The other morning he was playing with the Camelbak bag AdvoCare sent Brandon for our Greenbrier trip.
'Daddy, let me show you how to use this for your trip.'
2. Ladies Night Out
Last Friday night mom and I went to Ladies Night Out with our church. It was fun! We got to hear from a speaker that I had never heard from before and she was incredible. Her name is Christine Caine. Her story is amazing. There was a powerful statement that she said in the message that was a huge nerve striker for me. 'God is not A way, A truth, A life. God says that I am THE way, THE truth, and THE life. The power of that one word. 'The' over 'A'. So true. I feel like I go through life from time to time and put God on the back burner. But he isn't 'a', he is 'THE'. Huge eye opener. Another statement I took away was; 'Let's build our life on the truth and our purpose for what God has designed us for.' I've really been taking the time to reflect on what God has designed me for in life and making sure that I am really taking advantage of the opportunities he sits right in my lap.
While I was gone the boys had a night to themselves. I got some pretty sweet updates. :)
3. Team Building Event
Last Saturday we had a team building event with our AdvoCare family. It was so fun! Kids everywhere, two bounce houses, water table, swing set, corn hole, and LOTS of yummy food. Go big or go home, right? It was so great to be able to get together with the families.
Boog was there with his AdvoGear on!
It's so incredible knowing that our 'yes' has changed these families lives significantly. A huge handful of our team is located in other parts of the US, but being able to get together with these families in town was awesome!
4. Bennett Pics
Last Sunday we went to mom's and spent the day with them. It was beautiful outside! We went for a walk and spent the day on the patio.
Sunggles, snuggles, and more snuggles. Always my favorite!
Every morning we hang out in the bed for a little bit. I drink my morning SPARK and this little guy always tries to get some...
Bath time over at Nana's. She found a new trick!
Gardening with Papa!
5. The Greenbrier
With AdvoCare we get paid 5 ways. 1 way is through incentives trips and I always wrote those off because I just thought, 'That's great for the people who get them but that will never be us.' After leaving Success School in August we came home and got to work helping others with their health and finances. Locking arms with people who wanted to gain energy, lose weight, increase their performance, etc. And also locked arms with individuals or families who wanted more out of life. In doing so we looked up a few months later to an email from AdvoCare saying, 'Congratulations you're going to The Greenbrier!' At first we thought it was wrong, but then looked into and it was right! We had no clue we were even in the running for the trip. The time has come and we will be leaving soon for the trip. I'm so excited to be going on an all expense paid trip with other like minded champions. I can't wait to meet other AdvoCare Leaders and get some quality time with the staff. God has already blessed us in so many ways through AdvoCare and this is literally icing on the cake. I've never known of another company to treat you to trips just because you worked hard to help change lives. With AdvoCare if you Work Hard you Play Hard! We are so excited!! And the trip just so happens to fall on our 3rd wedding anniversary. <3
The back pack of goodies they sent us for the trip!
6. Emerald
This past week Brandon and I reached the Emerald Leadership level in AdvoCare. Alot of people see Emerald as $195,000 a year income, but we see it as something totally different. AdvoCare for us is a way to create freedom for our family that we otherwise wouldn't have been able to create, along with being able to pass that same freedom off to other people and families to help them get what they want out of life. Emerald has given us the ability to both be full time work from home parents, live life by our design, make our own schedule and completely pull Bennett out of daycare so that WE can raise our son.
Congratulations on Emerald and The Greenbrier trip! I'd love to ask you some questions about Advocare if you don't mind. My email is mkuhlman32@hotmail.com Thanks!
