{I started writing this at 36 weeks...}
Towards the end of pregnancy life gets difficult. In the grand scheme, life is good. I work from home which means I design my days and with the help of Brandon I'm not running myself too crazy taking care of Bennett. However, by 6pm I've hit my wall. My back is hurting, my feet are killing me, heartburn/indigestion has kicked into high gear and I am just plain exhausted! I guess at 36 weeks I shouldn't really expect to feel like a spring chicken when I've got a 5-6lb baby that is ready to come out just like I'm ready for her to come out. I keep saying that I don't remember feeling like this with Bennett, but I know that the moment he came into this world all of the discomfort and pain was forgotten about! And besides, day in and day out I remind myself that I am so blessed to be able to experience pregnancy. I know that there are many women in the world that have difficulties having children and I am so blessed to experience this! Someone once told me when I was pregnant with Bennett that pregnancy is a 'beautiful temporary'. Wow, if that isn't true! I remember when Brandon and I started trying to get pregnant with Aubrey and I longed for the big belly and excitement of preparing for a new baby to join our family and here we are... counting down the days, hours and soon to be.. seconds!
36 Weeks
36 Weeks! I still have obliques! Stop it. Seriously?! Thank you Catalyst! (An AdvoCare product my OB approved.) What I can say is.. This pregnancy I have not look at the scale. I have focused on remaining as healthy as possible through all of my bed rest orders and my food aversions. When I was able to be in the gym I would walk on the treadmill and hit the weight room. That's all I have done!
37 Weeks
38 weeks & 4 days. My last bump picture. This was at 9:30am on Friday, June 19th at my parents house right after I lost my mucus plug. Brandon was {frantically} taking a quick shower as he had just left the gym-getting ready to take me to the hospital to get checked. I remember taking my last bump picture with Bennett and had to snap this just in case it was my last chance...and it was!
Next Up.. Aubrey's Birth Story!
