We got a puppy!



Meet Jaxon!

The newest little Forbes.

We've been searching and searching for the perfect Brittany Spaniel and we found a couple on nextdaypets.com. It's hard to find one that isn't ridiculously priced OR not 12 hours away. But, we did know that it would be a hike to get one and a little chunk of change. With that being said we came across the right one! Right now he's in the Missouri, about 6 hours away.

Currently his nick name is Double Dot, because of two spots that he has. We've been hanging onto a name that we've been wanting to name a boy pup for a while and that's Jaxon. We're going to call him Jax for short! As long as it suits him we're going to keep it!

Here is his description from the breeder that was on the website:
We call this puppy Double Dot due to the 2 spots on the top of his head. Double Dot is our big boy. He’s one of the biggest of our pups, and seems to be the first at everything, first to open his eyes, first to walk, first to drink from a plate, etc..

Once we got to emailing with the breeder he told us more about him:
I'll tell you, Double Dot is probably one of the best pups we have. My wife has always liked the biggest of the litter, and I've always been a fan of the runt of the litter, but so far Double Dot is probably one of our most personable pups out of the litter, and he's quickly became a favorite of mine as well. So good choice, and I think you'll be extremely happy with him.


Here is his spots and how his coat looks now. In these pictures he is 3 1/2 weeks now. As of yesterday when Brandon talked to the breeder on the phone, he is about 5 weeks!

We are sooo excited that we went ahead and bought him some things, so we don't have to run around after we got him! We are going to leave the 20th of May to go pick him up, right after we get back from the Honeymoon...the day after. Call us crazy, but we're EXCITED! So we have a new countdown...
