The Fourth of July; Weekend!

05 July 2011

The Fourth of July weekend was a nice long relaxing/very productive weekend. I haven't had a three day weekend since New Years Day. Perks to working at a car dealership. But, it's not like I hate my job so I don't mind working the days. Every morning started out with a run and a good breakfast. I got a LOT accomplished, from cleaning my car to cleaning the whole house!

Sunday morning went for a run, then went to church, and headed to my grandparents for the day. Dad went to weed-eat for my pawpaw and mom went out to cut his hair. We took some Papa Murphey's Pizza and pigged OUT! We got the Veggie Delite {my fave} and Papa's Favorite. Mom brought an apple pie too...yum!

This is how people in the south, that are truly from the south, eat. Not ashamed.

After we all ate and laid around I got to play hide and seek with my CUTE little cousin Sophia. At the end of the day she was ready for me to come home with me! ;)

When we got home Ashley, mom, and me headed to the movies...

Come on, like you have never done this. The popcorn at the theaters is expensive {ridiculous} and fattening, so I popped us 100 calorie mini popcorn bags. YUM!

But, I did have to get some candy in honor of the brother. His all time favorite candy, Kazoozles. Have you tried them? If not, I'll warn you...they're extremely addicting.

The Fourth Of July!

I started off my fourth of July hanging out with Jaxon on the patio while the thunderstorm was moving around us. Then I went and got mom and we headed to the Greenway for a two mile walk! It was so nice.
Nothing but music and beautiful scenery.

After that I detailed my car, but only the inside because more rain was on its way. Today I took my car and I got my windows tinted! Pretty car now.

I spent the majority of the Fourth hanging out with my pup!

He loves his momma.

He LOVES riding in the car!

Now, this picture I can explain...
You know how you love going to grandma's house, because everything there is better? Well obviously that's what Jax thinks.

He even found a playground!

For dinner we did it big, as usual. Corn on the cob {I cut mine off, I hate getting it stuck in my teeth} squash casserole, cole slaw my dad made, and ribs!

To me fireworks are like, "Ohhh..." {very sarcastic}. I didn't want to invest in blowing my money up-literally, so we sat in the drive way and watched everyone else do it! :)

Hope everyone else had a great Fourth too!
