On top of spaghetti + some sweet treats!

22 September 2011

Wow, obviously I have some catching up to do. For now it's simply going to be on food. My life is going lightening fast, but I will catch up on that at another time.

I tried something that I have only had from a can. I wanted to make them for myself to see how they actually were...meatballs! It's the perfect way to get Brandon his extra protein he needs too! I know there are tons of different ways, but I found an 'easy' recipe and tried it out. Now, I know how to pretty much do anything I want from here.

Spicy Meatballs

Ingredients:
1 lb. ground turkey
1 env. onion soup mix
1 egg
1 tbsp milk
bread crumbs

Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together and roll into balls
2. Place on greased baking pan
3. Bake at 350 for 1/2 an hour

Last night for dinner we had McDonald's in! It was way healthier and a little more delicious we well. We got some Morning Star chicken nuggets and sweet potato waffle fries. Oh yeah! It was delish! Probably not as healthy as chicken and veggies, but come on. I'm a little burnt out.

YUM!

On to that sweet tooth! Thanks to pintrest I have found a few yummy ideas to test out. I love cookies and I love baking so I did some experimenting and made some awesome new treats!
