Happy Birthday Jax!

I can't believe that our sweet baby boy is finally one year old! Wow what a year it has been...


This is a picture of him that the owners sent before we picked him up. We were BEYOND excited when we saw this picture. We knew he was going to fit into the Forbes perfectly!

Here's a picture of Jax on the way home. We drove 6 hours to get him and 6 hours home. Well worth the trip!

The day after we got him. Look at that tiny furball! I will forever remember his bright blue eyes and the soft hair he had until he was about 6 months old.

March 27th!

This was the morning of his birthday. He was pretty excited!

For his birthday one of the presents we gave him is homemade treats. He loved them {& still is}! They were so easy to make!

Considering his birthday was on a Tuesday, we couldn't get too wild-so we took it easy the night of and took him on a nice long Birthday Walk.

Saturday we took him to the dog park. That was interesting. As soon as we entered the Park he took off running and before we knew it there was a pack of 10 dogs chasing him. He sprinted for a good 5 minutes and out run them all. Our little man is solid!

Saturday afternoon/night we had his birthday party at mom and dads. Fun times!!

Then it was time for cake! I found a dog cake {thanks Pinterest!} I think he liked it...

Yeap, he did!

To end the night we hung out by the fire pit.

Brandon and I swears he talks to us, he is very vocal. We always know exactly what he wants. He can sit, lay down, high five...and he knows so much more. The funnest thing is saying, 'Wanna FIGHT?' He goes crazy! Of course, I don't fight with him...Brandon does. It's so funny to watch them. Now, when he wants to lay down and cuddle...that's when he comes to his momma ;)



I can't believe it's been a whole year! Ready for many, many more.
