My Favorite... Stuff!

09 October 2012

I love a good review on a product, who doesn't? I know that's how I shop now-a-days. I've had a few people ask me about a few specific things I use, so I figured I would post about my most favorite things!

My Favorite Devotional
This is my favorite devotional because there isn't a day that goes by that I don't feel like it's speaking to me and is giving me insight into what's going on in my life at that very moment. It also gives 203 scriptures per day. Best thing about it, is I have access to in on my phone through my Kindle App. Love it!

Favorite Cereal...
Cereal is hard to pick out when you're looking for the healthy option. Great news people! This cereal is one of the meals for the Insanity Diet! 1 cup cereal, 3/4 cup milk, 1 tbs flax seed & some fruit. I usually put strawberries and blueberries. This is a perfect breakfast!

My next favorite breakfast is my Peanut Butter Banana Protein Shake I usually have these 2-3 times a week. Especially on the mornings I'm running out the door and can drink them on my way to work. They're so delicious and keep me full!

P.S. You breakfast skippers...That's the most important meal of the day & the most beneficial when it comes to working out and losing weight. Stop skipping!!!

Brandon and I are BOTH late time snackers. Especially when it comes to junk: chocolate, ice cream, cookies...you name it, we're eating it! Now, this is not a daily thing...maybe 1-2 times a week. Anyways, to cut down on the calories and sugar I found these Healthy Choice Greek Frozen Yogurt 100 calorie cups! They. Are. Delicious! And definitely satisfying to that dang sweet tooth!

We have white bedding. Yes, I know. But it looks so great and we love it. To keep the white from turning dingy I found a tutorial on Pinterest for tons of different things. The most inexpensive and easiest solution I found was White Brite. When you're washing whites you wash like normal and add a 1/2 cup. If you washer allows you a soak cycle, definitely do that for 10 minutes to let the white brite soak. Our sheets and down comforter cover stays so white with this! We don't eat or lay around in the bed, but I do have a sweet little dog that likes to jump up on the white with his dirty little paws. :) This stuff is awesome!

Stains. Ugh. You stains... I have found the perfect product to zap you out of my clothes thanks to my sweet friend, Fran! You squeeze the bottle right over the stain, and scrub it away. Let it sit for a hot minute, then throw it in the wash and BAM! Bye, bye stains! Grass, dirt, spaghetti sauce... you name it, it comes out!

Within the past few months I've become a Neutrogena Snob. Love it!
This is the face wash and toner I like to use.

1-2 times a week I use this Clear Pore as a mask.
I let it sit about 5 minutes and it makes my face feel so clean!

Yeap, I use the foundation too. I'm not spending my entire paycheck on make up. Pointless, if you ask me. This foundation is great! I recently switched to this and it really does last all day!

I also recently switched to this mascara. It's pretty awesome! When I say it stays all day...it does. It makes my lashes look longer {which I thought was a lie and wasn't possible} and SUPER thick! They almost look fake, but you can tell they aren't.

When Brandon and I started dating I noticed he used Aveeno. I always called him crazy for buying the most expensive lotion on the market....until I started using it and couldn't stop! Love this stuff. He mocks me {in a high squeaky voice} 'That stuff is so expensive why do you use it?' We still to this day argue about who's side of the sink it goes under and obviously, it goes under mine. ;)

I've had a few requests to blog about meal planning/prepping so that's coming up in a couple days!
Happy Tuesday Friends!
