Show & Tell Monday: On Tuesday. How I met my Husband.

After yesterday's blog overload about our Four Day Weekend, I missed the link up for Show & Tell Monday. So, let's do it on Tuesday!

Becky from From Mrs To Mama calls the link up, How I Met Your Father, but we're newlyweds and kid free, so I changed the name.

1. Tell us about how and when you met your love and what attracted you most to him.

I blogged about Our Story before, but here's a long story short..

Blind double date, my friend was dating Brandon's roommate, dinner at their house, January of 2010.

What did not attract me to him was this wave he had going in his hair, but I thought 'Meh... that's fixable.' What did attract me was his smile, he was very polite and well mannered and carried himself like an actual man...not like an immature boy, and his style-very unique. And for the record-he still has the wave and he wouldn't be my Brandon without it. :)

2. Show us the very first {or one of the first} pictures you guys ever took.

This is the first picture, ever, that someone {secretly} snapped of us.

This is the first picture that was actually posed for! This night was epic. Fun times after Brandon got home from his first deployment. Well, the first one we went through together. 

3. Tell us some of your most favorite memories you two had together.

The day Brandon asked me to be his girlfriend. It was the day he left for his three month deployment. We had been dating for 2 weeks. I said yes, not really knowing what was going to happen. All I remember was knowing that it was right. I went to his house after work to say goodbye. Of course I was looking super cute. Then he drug me outside to play football in the road. It was a bittersweet/unsure of the future goodbye, but without a doubt the best decision I ever made was to say yes and wait for him.

4. Tell us your favorite qualities about this man and what makes him 'the one.'

Brandon is caring, loving, kind hearted, genuine, driven, very hard worker, strong-mentally and physically, friendly, polite, I could go on. He is 'the total package' for me. 

What makes him the one is that I  know he will always be intentional when it comes to me and our marriage. 

Example: The note he left on the breakfast he cooked for me this morning, because I was running late.

5. Tell us what your 'date nights' typically look like.

Our date nights vary. It's either staying in with Jax renting a red box and making a pizza or going out to a nice dinner. It all depends on the mood we're in! :)
