Highlights of 2012

What a year it has been! Here are some highlights that I specifically remember.

January

We rang in the new year in our newly finished bonus room! Furniture, TV, everything!

Brandon bought a truck.

We celebrated my mom and dads 30 year anniversary by throwing them a surprise party. It actually went off without a hitch! That was such an awesome day.

We put to sleep the sweetest dog I had ever known. He was the closest thing that our family has ever had to lose. Such a sweet baby. RIP Simba <3

February

In February we spent our first Valentines Day together!

We also started our new Community Group. Who knew the amazing friendships we would make.

We bought a complete new bedroom suite. King size, memory foam {obsessed} and bedding!

March

In March when Brandon was gone on a TDY trip I received a mom of the year award. Jaxon ate a light bulb! Geez.

April

In April we celebrated Jaxons first birthday with a birthday party! 

We also enjoyed our Easter together with the Easter bunny visiting Jax for the first time.

May

My niece graduated and went to prom! It's official. I'm old.

Brandon and I celebrated our ONE YEAR anniversary with a four day weekend staycation.

Brandon turned 27. {Eeek!} I created a full day of a birthday scavenger hunt!

June

In June we started house hunting. And found one! We closed and moved in on the 29th.

My dad baptized Brandon on Father's Day. <3

July

July was spent settling into our new home.

I got a new Accord. Same one that I had, just a year newer with Nav.

August

My Mom, Dad, and I surprised Brandon by bringing his mom into town to visit for a weekend. He had no clue and it was awesome! :)

We had our Housewarming Party and invited our close friends and family over to check out the new diggs!

We had a ridiculously fun spontaneous Saturday going to Nashville go karting and putt putt!

I turned 24. Gross.

September

We spent a four day weekend out by the lake. So peaceful, romantic, and much needed!

Brandon got sent on a last minute deployment for a month. It was rough, but we made it through! <3

Participated in Operation Serve for the 3rd time, but did the Extreme Home Makeover for the first time. Completely life changing.

October

Participated in the Color Run with some girlfriend. Fun times!

I was the tooth fairy for Halloween and Brandon was The Brawny Man.

November

Saw Chonda Pierce Live.

Became Independent Advocare Distributors and started our own business called Forbes Fitness!

December

My brother got engaged! So excited to have a new sister!

Got an Elf on the Shelf named Chessy!

Saw Toby Mac in concert at The Hits Deep Tour.

Had an amazing Christmas and was blessed to have all of my family around!

Extended our family by four little paws. <3

Ready for the New Year and excited to see what 2013 will bring us!
