Easter 2014

Last Easter I was about 4 months pregnant with Bennett, but this year he's here! And let me tell you he is Mr. Center of Attention and all of the place! So blessed to be a family of three this year.

He may not be too happy about these when he is in his 20's, but I can't get enough of this cuteness and have to take advantage of it as much as possible now!

We took advantage of the Saturday night Easter service at church. It was an incredible service! Easter always reminds me how great of a sacrifice Jesus paid for us to live a free life. Tends to be a very emotional time for me. Grateful for the faith that we have.


I knew I wanted our Boog to have a bow tie and when Nana and I found this 3 piece set I went all goo goo over it, obviously. One sweet little man!

Sunday morning we found that the Easter Bunny had hopped through our house! He visited everyone in the house!!!

Saturday we actually opened the Easter box from Virginia Beach! This Easter basket was all about getting Bennett ready for the summer time! Sunglasses, hat, swim suit, etc! So excited for our first summer!

Sunday afternoon we had family come over for an Easter cookout. It was a beautiful day! We grilled burgers and had all the good ol' Tennessee fixins to go with it!

Then the Easter Bunny came from Daytona with a touch and feel book and super sweet card!

We ended Easter with a pretty big milestone. With the help of the activity walker that Uncle Michael & Auntie KK got Bennett, he stood up by himself! Oh, Lordy.. help us all!!
